Haylei's pre-departure!

Ciao! 

My name is Haylei and I am one of the 12 students studying away! 

I honestly can't believe I'm boarding to leave for Italy, if you would have told me that I'd be living with locals for a month, I wouldn't believe you! I feel very fortunate to be able to have this opportunity and to experience it first hand. I have always been fascinately curious with the rich Italian culture, and now I get to immerse myself in the culture, WOW! 

I'm looking forward to seeing historical landmarks, the beautiful landscapes, the delicious, mouthwatering food, and most of all making connections with the locals! 

I'm a psychology major, and so, in short, understanding and connecting with people is passion. I'm excited to create meaningful relationships with people who live locally and to experience their culture and day-to-day life.
